Genetic Code Determines Your Coffee Desires

According to University of South Australia, cardio health influences coffee consumption. Researchers found that people with high blood pressure, and arrhythmia drank less coffee compared to people without these diseases. The lead researchers stated that “a positive finding that shows our genetics actively regulate the amount of coffee we drink and protect us from consuming too much.” They believe that it is likely due to a protective genetic mechanism. People who drink a lot of coffee are genetically tolerant to coffee more than someone who barley drinks coffee. This is because they are more prone to high blood pressure and other chronic health conditions. Overall, researchers think that coffee consumption may be an indicator of one’s cardio health.
