While many people are focused on Covid-19, while just around the corner, another disease approaches. In The Science Times, an article was made "Devastating New Genetic Disease Kills 40% of Its Patients". The article talks about a rare lethal and deadly disease that is attacking men. The condition is known as VEXAS syndrome or VEXAS, which is a genetic disease found by the pathologist that appears to look like blood clots in veins and has many symptoms. I believe if they look more in the UBA1 Gene, which holds the mutation, they could find more mutations that could occur on the same genetic code. I also think that if they look more into the VEXAS syndrome, they could find out how to alter it and also find a way to treat it.
