Extra female genes make men more masculine

This article begins to explain the sex chromosome and some of the new discoveries scientists have found. This article explains that it seems that men with a XX sex chromosome show more masculoine characteristics (particularly sexual drive) than that of men with XY chromosome. It was said that when tested mice with XX chromosomes mounted female mice more often than that of male mice with a XY sex chromosome and also ejaculated more often as well. Scientists also did experiments with mice that had an extra X chromosome so the genotype was XXY and this extra chromosome also accounted for the more masculine expressions.

This finding may explain that the inactive X chromosome in females actually does express at least a quarter of its genes. this expression may alter the expression of the other genes and possibly explain the different behaviours between the sexes. Scientists are trying to find a spot on the X chromosome that is linked to sexual activity, and this protein could be used as a possible libido booster.
