That’s Not a Crumb, It’s a Tiny Chameleon

This article is about a new species of Chameleon called Brookesia micra that has been discovered on the Island of Madagascar. Ths article isnt completely and directly about genetics however i felt it related to genetics in the way once again certain genes are selected for and because of the genes certain species are able to survive better then others. For instance Madagascar has had very large animals and very small and over time the large animals became endangered and even extinct because of humans as well as other causes. The tiny animals however (although some died off) survived and were able to scurry to the various safe spots too small for the larger animals.

Also this article is undirectly related to genetics in the way that you wonder what gene they have to make them so small as well as they only get a white stripe on their back when they are stressed again you wonder. So hopefully with more research and new discoveries scientists will understand more about this new species and more genetic information about certain traits they may carry will be revealed.
