Women's brains contain male DNA
Microchimerism is the existence of foreign cells within a persons body. It normally is caused by transmissions of fetal cells from fetus to mother during pregnancy. This biological phenomenon has been known for quite some time now. It is not rare for women to have male cells living within certain organs of their body. d through the blood brain barrier is a new medical discovery. Some tests have already been conducted to examine if the male cells are deleterious or beneficial. Amazingly what they have found is male microchimerisms in the female brain might cause increased immunity to Alzheimer's disease!

After reading the original article in addition to this post, I am still somewhat confused as to what crossing the "blood brain barrier" means; however, I think this is a very interesting subject because I never knew it was possible to contain 2 separate DNA's after a pregnancy (I have heard of cases where twin embryos would conjoin during growth and the resulting fetus would have the DNA of each embryo). I think it would be very intriguing to follow any studies that might arise from this to see if any new discoveries will prevail from it.
