Identical DNA found in different species of plants
Researchers at the University of Missouri have sequenced and compared genetic material from different species of plants. Using algorithms, the data was analyzed and compared with other species of plants. Billions of searches were performed using powerful computers. Surprisingly, the different species showed identical sequences of code. This conflicts with the idea of convergent evolution. News article[gallery]
