According to Southwestern Medical Center researches have found a link between a gene and a rare disorder that cause the body to have inflammation and loss of fat. Gene was found to be mutated in three patients from different families. The researchers discovered upon investigating that the gene affect enzyme PSMB8 causing the inflammation by affecting the immune cell processing of antigens.
