CRISPRS Advances

CRISPR is a genetic modifying tool used to modify our genomes into different genes that we prefer. I’m this article in Science Daily. They go into a story in which they used CRISPR to prevent a disease before the specimen even had been born into the world. They go into detail about an animal model with a lethal lung disease in its gene and was meant to die after hours of being born but due to this genetic modifying they were able to prevent this from happening and saving the specimen. The researchers who did this experiment are trying to push the idea of utero editing to then help this study with humans so we could be able to preform this on diseased humans or infants that their respected diseases could be cured and they can live their lives normally. And also there are others who are doing the same studying like this people.
