It is amazing that the "copy and paste" is able to be passed down to future generations. This could lead to the removal of unwanted defects in the human genome and allow people to live longer lives compared with those without these future treatments. Maybe these techniques could be used on some bacteria and viruses in order to destroy their pathogenic nature by altering their genome.
