They really are insanely smart for the size that they are. To be able to take over and change your body in order to control the colony and be a queen is amazing! I love learning about all the things insects are capable of doing.Casey Mulraneyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06526309511380832405noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3360356351594869925.post-2604515246628116972021-12-11T02:19:57.640-05:002021-12-11T02:19:57.640-05:00It is astonishing how ants can turn into the queen...It is astonishing how ants can turn into the queen to lead the colony after the previous queen disappears. It is even more surprising that the ant becomes a queen only because it is guided by its own natural hormones to become the queen. I am intrigued to learn more of the biochemistry that involves the transcription factor Kr-hl and its relation to hormones.Mueed Hossainhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15697427633415654668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3360356351594869925.post-57419524854571925812021-12-08T19:38:57.666-05:002021-12-08T19:38:57.666-05:00It is so cool that ants compete for the status to ...It is so cool that ants compete for the status to become queen by changing the size of their brains, ants in general are such an intelligent species but the way they can mend and reshape their own genes is absolutely incredible and I wonder how ants will be researched after learning about how ants can activate different hormones.Nidaa Bukharihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15430244622088280333noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3360356351594869925.post-69159269831685020762021-12-07T15:40:05.688-05:002021-12-07T15:40:05.688-05:00Ants are really incredible superorganisms.
