It's ability to house so many other organisms and give them a place to thrive is truly underappreciated by our society and hopefully this can bring some hope to our dying reefs.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09952740094736552099noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3360356351594869925.post-46630636314653717902018-05-03T04:44:32.001-04:002018-05-03T04:44:32.001-04:00Connecting marine science and genetics is both int...Connecting marine science and genetics is both interesting and practical, and with further research into its applications, this type of information could help solve the issues resulting from climate change.Drew D'Ascolihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01323811640055542272noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3360356351594869925.post-75403743229688420112018-05-01T20:42:21.082-04:002018-05-01T20:42:21.082-04:00I knew CRISPR was able to alter genes for plants a...I knew CRISPR was able to alter genes for plants and animals, but I never thought of using the tool for coral reefs! Since CRISPR is still a newer tool in the scientific community, hopefully more research is done very soon to save the coral reefs. I'm glad there is researching being done to try and save the reefs, but more definitely needs to be done to help the planet.
