More research should be put into this topic. If we are able to distinguish what allows these salamanders to regrow their body parts we can modify the "gene" and hopefully use it for humans. This will be an amazing medical outbreak that will change the way we look at medicine, we as humans when we lose limbs, we replace them with prosthetics. This will be very beneficial for humans. If humans were able to somehow regenerate a body part it could advance medical studies greatly for instance if something had to be decapitated, or if someone was born without a limb.
