Food Allergy Linked to Skin Exposure

A study done on food allergies that are discovered during childhood have found that it is a mixture environmental and genetic factors.  There are different things that can trigger an allergy to arise including wipes, dust and allergens.  General food allergies are rising in the United States. There are ways to prevent the allergy by washing ones hands after touching food and not using wipes that leave soap on the infants skin.  The exposure of the allergen onto the skin can cause an allergy more than the child eating the food since they cannot yet eat that food.  The wipes with soap on them allow the allergen that touches the skin to get into the child's system.  In order to prevent the exposure to things that can cause an allergic reaction, wipes that contain soap should not be used on infants and young children.
